Demos, Trucks and Books

Hi folks, an update on the coming events, in case you were absent
today. (by the way, please note my new email address -
)

Demonstration: because of my hectic schedule, I am unable to organise
a demo for next week. But I am still hoping to get it done by the end
of this month. As far as I know the demo will be in Port of Spain
(possibly Woodbrook Youth Facility, Lions, or Chinese Association, or
other...) either on a Wednesday or Friday, to accomodate everyone.
As usual, I will keep you in touch.

Eddy's moving: I hope some of you (and your trucks) can help me move
our furniture from St-Augustine to Woodbrook. The two dates I am
planning on are : Saturday 18 and Saturday/Sunday 25/26. Basically
next Saturday and the following weekend. I picked those two dates so
that the ones who can't help one day could hopefully help on the
other. Let me know as soon as possible which day, if any, you can
help. I appreciate. Of course, pizza/pelau and beer/rhum provided :-)

For those who asked today about the books I had, "FJ Norman's The
fighting man of Japan" and "Kendo Kata, Essence and Application" they
are available on the Kendo World website (http://www.kendo-world.com)
at the following address:
http://www.kendo-world.com/kw_publications/index.php. Once I read them
you can borrow them (it will cost you a few beers though...). Actually
that website is one of the best source of info, specifically the
Forums. Lots of nonsense, but also lots of good information. In case
you didn't notice, it IS listed in the bookmark section of the
TriniKendo website (http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/trinikendo/).
If you are interested in some other Kendo books, let me know, I have a
pretty long list of references that you should browse through before
you purchase.

That's all for now, hope to see you soon
